With extensive experience in Search and Rescue, the Canadian Armed Forces, and over a decade in the fire service, Jason has consistently demonstrated competence and professionalism in high-pressure environments. His ability to lead and support others in challenging circumstances has been a hallmark of his career, earning him the respect of his peers and community alike. While serving as a firefighter, Jason founded a pioneering peer support group for military and frontline emergency personnel, one of the first organizations in North America to welcome members from all branches of service. Jason’s commitment to mental health advocacy is unwavering. Drawing from his professional experiences, he has become a passionate champion for improving access to mental health resources for military and emergency personnel, both active and retired. His leadership in this space has helped break down barriers and provide critical support to those in need.
